3D Single-Use Bioprocessing Bags — 50 L–1,000+ L | MPX | GMP | SeamlessBio

3D Single-Use Bioprocessing Bags — 50 L to 1,000+ L | MPX | GMP-Compatible

3D bioprocessing bags are cube-shaped single-use containers designed for large-volume bioprocessing in standard tote containers. Unlike flat 2D bags, 3D bags are engineered to fill and hold their cubic shape when placed inside stainless steel or HDPE bioprocessing containers — eliminating the need for cleaning, cleaning validation, and the risk of cross-contamination between batches.

SeamlessBio 3D bags are engineered as 1:1 drop-in replacements for Sartorius Flexel® and Thermo Fisher Hyperforma® systems. Pre-assembled with high-quality MPX (Body/Stem) connectors for secure, quick, and aseptic connections. All bags are gamma sterilised and shipped with full GMP documentation.

Compatible with: Sartorius Flexel® cube containers and totes | Thermo Fisher Hyperforma® systems | All standard stainless steel and HDPE cube containers. Fits existing holders, load cells, and mixing systems without process changes.

Key Applications

ApplicationDetailsTypical Volume
Large-scale media preparationPrepare cell culture media in 50–1,000 L batches. Compatible with overhead mixers and pad mixers on bioprocessing containers.50–500 L
Buffer preparation & storagePrepare, equilibrate and store large volumes of PBS, column buffers, process buffers — eliminate tank cleaning.100–1,000 L
Bulk intermediate storageStore harvest material, concentrated protein, or intermediate product before downstream processing — maintain sterility without stainless steel.50–1,000 L
mAb manufacturing (upstream)Media prep and feed preparation for large bioreactor runs. Integrate with CHO/NS0 perfusion and fed-batch processes.100–1,000 L
Vaccine productionLarge-volume media and buffer preparation for viral vaccine manufacturing. Single-use eliminates cross-contamination between vaccine strains.100–500 L
Downstream processingHold tanks for chromatography loading, TFF feed, formulation buffer — replace stainless steel hold tanks in downstream.50–1,000 L
